How to install Skins and Maps for Quake III Arena

What is a skin?

Adding a new or modified character to the game. So when you choose your model you will have more choices.

What is a map?

A map is simply what you are playing on. We can add new maps and skins to the game very easily.

How do I add my skins and Maps?

You COPY your skin(s) and map(s) into a folder that has been installed by the CD. Select the map(s) or skin(s) you want and COPY into the "baseq3" folder on your hard Drive. Usually in this location, C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3. That's it, just PASTE them in and you are all set.
